Jung Hoon was invited as honoured guest to the 51st Asia-pacific Film Festival, held in Taipei, Taiwan which just ended on 24th November. He mentioned that it was his second time being a guest for a grand ceremony. Alongside him, was Eun Hye, fellow ‘Goong’ actress, and also few other Korean stars as well. He performed his new song if I’m not wrong. Way to go Hoonie!
ASIAN NEXT PAX MUSICA 2006
Jung Hoon participated in Asian Next Pax Musica 2006 that was held on 26th and 27th October. He took part on 27th. The event gathered new generation Asian Star from Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He sang 3 Japanese songs, Sirius, Bokura Nari No Uta and I'm Sorry. It was said that he was singing the song with good Japanese pronounciation skillfully that left the audience impressed.I'm not really sure whether this is only a rumour or not so before any official confirmation is made, let treat this as a rumour, it's rumoured that his song Bokura Nari No Uta might become the ending theme for Goong S (replaced name for Goong 2) which will start its filming in 20th November.

I've been a little lag off on KJH news. But form the itsy bitsy things I get, Jung Hoon has been doing well recording his songs in Japan, his best album in Taiwan grasp the first place in album chart, and he's now filming a drama (as guest performance or something, correct me if I'm wrong).

Kim Jung Hoon has been busy these days, from Korea to China, back to Korea then went off to Japan and just recently he went to Taiwan for Goong promotion.He was there from 30th July – 2nd August. The weather was quite hot in Taiwan, it was around 36ºC when he was there. More than 1000 fans turned out at the Goong fanmeeting event. The event was held on 30th July at 3.00pm but there were fans who waited at the broadcasting station from 29th July. About 500 fans couldn't enter the event because of the overwhelming response of attendance. Sweet as Kim Jung Hoon is, he wasn't lack of his infamous killer smile. Posters/pictures signed by Jung Hoon was out of stock, it might be a sad thing for fans who didn't manage to grab a copy but to a happy fact they get to exchange hand shake with the sweety, Hoonie. Jung Hoon was actually quite surprised with the overwhelmingly warm welcome he got while he was in Taiwan. There are fan pictures going around of him going shopping, buying a cap. He wore that cap on his trip back to Korea. Apart from promoting Goong he also involved in welfare activity involving children. I believe it’s something like make-your-own-bear thingy, e.g stuffing cotton, matching body etc.
Seems like his popularity in Asia Entertainment Sphere is steadily increasing, which is a good thing.

Isn't there an end to the sweetness of Jung Hoon? no, there's no end because he's like the sweetest actor/singer on earth. After that very sweet thing he did by surprisingly barged into a Korean forum to talk with his fans and posting cute pictures of him pouting, he, again, made his fans happy. Fans of him in Dclily, a korean gallery/forum, had made t-shirts bearing the word 'Kimsajang' on it (which means 'President Kim' or 'CEO Kim' which he was called by the Korean fans) It was originally made by fans for fans, so I believe. A fan who has access to Jung Hoon's Japanese fanclub webpage posted two pictures of Jung Hoon while he was in Japan wearing that 'Kimsajang' T-shirt. I bet the Korean fans must be very happy. And I'm so glad to know that Jung Hoon is always the very sweet guy despites the sudden popularity he get after starring in Goong ^^.

I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise (about the uploading & Uni's lab thingy). It's fair to say that this site is on hiatus until I find 'real' or 'sufficient' time to update T.T. The main peoblem is actually not free time since I was known as procrastinator , it's the internet connection that's giving me the biggest problem T.T thank you for supporting the site by visiting it, I feel bad that I couldn't update frequently.

Jung Hoon's activity in China for the Global Carnival has comes to an end. He went back to Korea today, 9th July. It seems that he was greatly welcomed there ^^ good for him. Actor Kim Jeong-hoon was named the “most prince-like Korean actor� in China.
The Chinese portal site Sohu.com said Thursday that Kim won 30.41 percent, or 6,217 votes, on a recent poll asking “Who is the most prince-like actor among Korean stars?� and took the top spot on the poll.
The portal site said that the poll result is attributable to Kim’s soft and elegant image reminiscent of a prince in a fairytale.
The Korean drama “Palace� starring Kim was recently carried on Hong Kong’s Star TV and on the Internet.

A convention was held to commemorate John Hoon’s Japanese debut as solo singer. As planned, he sang Japanese songs, ‘everything’ and ‘endless story’ and after that he gave a talk. He had to remember the Japanese songs in a short period of time, himself, but he handled it seriously, sang nicely and received high appraisal from people who attend the convention. He received flowers from fan club in place of everyone, the fans. At the place, pictures of John Hoon in a new image/appearance were displayed. Fanmade banner was displayed too.
I'm glad people like his singing ^^ I wonder is he really debuting with those 2 songs?, I mean... I really hope he'll record his own song not others'. (note: everything is Misia's song, endless story is Ito Yuna's). I hope he sang that song only for the convention.
These days, John Hoon is always in the studio in Korea, practicing his singing. In addition he also go to karaoke to practice, it’s said to have fun at the same time practicing.

In a 'Love in Palace' japanese report, the reporter introduce Jung Hoon and Eun Hye who are the main lead of the drama, also noting that they are singer turn actor/actress and once in UN and Baby VOX. And how Chae Gyung's main role give Eun Hye a sudden popularity and success. There is also a mention of Goong's success and it's high viewership, and they are thinking of broadcasting it in other Asian countries. Both of Hoon and Eun Hye gave Japanese greeting when they appeared at the event. And the reporter commented that Hoon's Japanese seems to be more fluent than Eun Hye (zaza: the learning effort pays =P)

More information on Goong Fanmeeting & Screening in Japan. Eun Hye and Jung Hoon will be meeting local fan. They'll visit on the 23rd, and the event will be held the next day from 2pm - 5 pm. It'll have the highlight and screening of the drama, Goong. Howl will be there too for a live performance of 'Perhaps Love'. The fanmeeting on the other hand will be approximately 1 hour. If I read it right, to participate one have to purchase the 'goong' bear between 7th-23rd June, and then a lucky draw will be conducted to determine whether you'll get to see JUNG HOON or not. Great way to make money eh~ -__-;;, I believe that Goong Bear won't be cheap.

I wrote that he'll be on Inkigayo again, and before that I wrote that he'll be on an unknown program/channel which now has been known , it's Kantame!DX, a japanese programme owned by Fuji TV. So they're not 2 same program afterall, sorry for that. But I'm a little bit confuse because it's stated in his official site that he has appeared before and will appear again, so um *scratch head* is it a crossover from fm inkigayo to Kantame!DX? nah, I'm just making my assumption. Jung Hoon will hve an interview again by '韓タメ' (I don't know what program) but it's stated that he has been interviewed by that channel/program just recently and he will appear for the second time on 5th June. Give it a guess, YTN? Inkigayo? Mnet? I don't know. But it's something to look forward for.

Goong will be aired in Japan on July, 1st. I have an Mnet Japan video of Kim Jung Hoon talking about it. Will upload later. The last sentence he spoke was 'Minnasan no ai wo onegaitashimasu'. "I'm asking/hoping for everyone's love", something like that... how sweet ^^.
From what I get from dclili and soompi, seems like he had an interview with 'Sina' (china-based). If I know more about it, I'll post it up.
And I bring you the pictures from Sina.com and also other picture from the filming. I guess I'll just add them to the existing behind-the-scene drama city page. Easier for me *grin*
And seem like there is a confusion about 'drama city' plot. The other day, I stated that it's about a character who fall in love with a girl who sleepwalks in the morning. But in the Sina website, it was stated that the episode is about a character who was thrown to jail due to injustice. I don't know which one is true, let us just wait and see.
And on the last day of filming (I believe), KJH's fans brought sushis and food for KJH and the rest of the filming staffs. Kim Jung hoon is blessed with such nice and sweet fans eh~.

I've no current news about Jung Hoon, I think we just have to wait for his drama city episode to be aired on 27th. And ooh to bad I'm going on vacation that certain day(27th) or else I've been thinking to spaz the update with my giddy comments on him around that day once I watch the episode (let's hope someone in Korea caps the episode =P). So there won't be any updates for 5-6 days starting from 27th May since I'm going to Thailand... (haha suddenly I feel like Hyorin seeking out Shin in Thailand *lol*)

Netizen Entertainment May MVP Popularity Poll's result is out! In the Actor Category, our Jung Hoon managed to be No. 1!! Yay for him. He got 40.8% of votes whic is 21107 vote. With the second in the line, Jo Hyun Jae with 20072 votes, less 1035 votes than KJH. 3rd place is Seo Do Young who acted in Spring Waltz with 3356 votes, 4th Hyun Bin with 3331 votes, and 5th fellow Goong actor, Joo Ji Hoon with 912 votes. I'll list from 1st to 15th place in a specific page after this. As for this update it's enough to know that Kim Jung Hoon topped the actor category for May MVP Popularity poll. *grin*

More information about his 'drama city' episode. EPISODE TITLE: "the viewing distance in fog" [foggy weather might be the background setting, since choonchun is known for its foggy weather] SYNOPSIS: he falls in love with a woman who sleepwalks early in the morning, while he delivers daily newspapers. he would fall in love with her, but she wouldn't remember him when she is awake, as if she has amnesia. it's a pretty sad love story, but rumour has it that the episode will have a happy ending.

Drama city, unlike banjun drama, is quite serious in its literary and artistic value. the one jung hoon will be shooting is based on a short korean novel which won the lee sang literary award back in the 70's.
It is not a series, and will conclude in just one episode. the geographical/background location for the episode is in choonchun, and the first week of shooting will be held there.
There is still no information as to who the rest of the cast will be, but the episode began filming on may 9th, and will continue to film until may 17th.

He mentioned that it was his second time being a guest for a grand ceremony. Alongside him, was Eun Hye, fellow ‘Goong’ actress, and also few other Korean stars as well. He performed his new song if I’m not wrong. Way to go Hoonie!

Jung Hoon participated in Asian Next Pax Musica 2006 that was held on 26th and 27th October. He took part on 27th. The event gathered new generation Asian Star from Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He sang 3 Japanese songs, Sirius, Bokura Nari No Uta and I'm Sorry. It was said that he was singing the song with good Japanese pronounciation skillfully that left the audience impressed.I'm not really sure whether this is only a rumour or not so before any official confirmation is made, let treat this as a rumour, it's rumoured that his song Bokura Nari No Uta might become the ending theme for Goong S (replaced name for Goong 2) which will start its filming in 20th November.

I've been a little lag off on KJH news. But form the itsy bitsy things I get, Jung Hoon has been doing well recording his songs in Japan, his best album in Taiwan grasp the first place in album chart, and he's now filming a drama (as guest performance or something, correct me if I'm wrong).

Kim Jung Hoon has been busy these days, from Korea to China, back to Korea then went off to Japan and just recently he went to Taiwan for Goong promotion.He was there from 30th July – 2nd August. The weather was quite hot in Taiwan, it was around 36ºC when he was there. More than 1000 fans turned out at the Goong fanmeeting event. The event was held on 30th July at 3.00pm but there were fans who waited at the broadcasting station from 29th July. About 500 fans couldn't enter the event because of the overwhelming response of attendance. Sweet as Kim Jung Hoon is, he wasn't lack of his infamous killer smile. Posters/pictures signed by Jung Hoon was out of stock, it might be a sad thing for fans who didn't manage to grab a copy but to a happy fact they get to exchange hand shake with the sweety, Hoonie. Jung Hoon was actually quite surprised with the overwhelmingly warm welcome he got while he was in Taiwan. There are fan pictures going around of him going shopping, buying a cap. He wore that cap on his trip back to Korea. Apart from promoting Goong he also involved in welfare activity involving children. I believe it’s something like make-your-own-bear thingy, e.g stuffing cotton, matching body etc.
Seems like his popularity in Asia Entertainment Sphere is steadily increasing, which is a good thing.

After that very sweet thing he did by surprisingly barged into a Korean forum to talk with his fans and posting cute pictures of him pouting, he, again, made his fans happy. Fans of him in Dclily, a korean gallery/forum, had made t-shirts bearing the word 'Kimsajang' on it (which means 'President Kim' or 'CEO Kim' which he was called by the Korean fans) It was originally made by fans for fans, so I believe. A fan who has access to Jung Hoon's Japanese fanclub webpage posted two pictures of Jung Hoon while he was in Japan wearing that 'Kimsajang' T-shirt. I bet the Korean fans must be very happy. And I'm so glad to know that Jung Hoon is always the very sweet guy despites the sudden popularity he get after starring in Goong ^^.

Actor Kim Jeong-hoon was named the “most prince-like Korean actor� in China.
The Chinese portal site Sohu.com said Thursday that Kim won 30.41 percent, or 6,217 votes, on a recent poll asking “Who is the most prince-like actor among Korean stars?� and took the top spot on the poll.
The portal site said that the poll result is attributable to Kim’s soft and elegant image reminiscent of a prince in a fairytale.
The Korean drama “Palace� starring Kim was recently carried on Hong Kong’s Star TV and on the Internet.

In a 'Love in Palace' japanese report, the reporter introduce Jung Hoon and Eun Hye who are the main lead of the drama, also noting that they are singer turn actor/actress and once in UN and Baby VOX. And how Chae Gyung's main role give Eun Hye a sudden popularity and success. There is also a mention of Goong's success and it's high viewership, and they are thinking of broadcasting it in other Asian countries. Both of Hoon and Eun Hye gave Japanese greeting when they appeared at the event. More information on Goong Fanmeeting & Screening in Japan. Eun Hye and Jung Hoon will be meeting local fan. They'll visit on the 23rd, and the event will be held the next day from 2pm - 5 pm. It'll have the highlight and screening of the drama, Goong. Howl will be there too for a live performance of 'Perhaps Love'. The fanmeeting on the other hand will be approximately 1 hour. If I read it right, to participate one have to purchase the 'goong' bear between 7th-23rd June, and then a lucky draw will be conducted to determine whether you'll get to see JUNG HOON or not. Great way to make money eh~ -__-;;, I believe that Goong Bear won't be cheap.

I wrote that he'll be on Inkigayo again, and before that I wrote that he'll be on an unknown program/channel which now has been known , it's Kantame!DX, a japanese programme owned by Fuji TV. So they're not 2 same program afterall, sorry for that. But I'm a little bit confuse because it's stated in his official site that he has appeared before and will appear again, so um *scratch head* is it a crossover from fm inkigayo to Kantame!DX? nah, I'm just making my assumption. Goong will be aired in Japan on July, 1st. I have an Mnet Japan video of Kim Jung Hoon talking about it. Will upload later. The last sentence he spoke was 'Minnasan no ai wo onegaitashimasu'. "I'm asking/hoping for everyone's love", something like that... how sweet ^^.
From what I get from dclili and soompi, seems like he had an interview with 'Sina' (china-based). If I know more about it, I'll post it up.
And seem like there is a confusion about 'drama city' plot. The other day, I stated that it's about a character who fall in love with a girl who sleepwalks in the morning. But in the Sina website, it was stated that the episode is about a character who was thrown to jail due to injustice. I don't know which one is true, let us just wait and see.
And on the last day of filming (I believe), KJH's fans brought sushis and food for KJH and the rest of the filming staffs. Kim Jung hoon is blessed with such nice and sweet fans eh~.

Netizen Entertainment May MVP Popularity Poll's result is out! In the Actor Category, our Jung Hoon managed to be No. 1!! Yay for him. He got 40.8% of votes whic is 21107 vote. With the second in the line, Jo Hyun Jae with 20072 votes, less 1035 votes than KJH. 3rd place is Seo Do Young who acted in Spring Waltz with 3356 votes, 4th Hyun Bin with 3331 votes, and 5th fellow Goong actor, Joo Ji Hoon with 912 votes.

More information about his 'drama city' episode. EPISODE TITLE: "the viewing distance in fog" [foggy weather might be the background setting, since choonchun is known for its foggy weather] SYNOPSIS: he falls in love with a woman who sleepwalks early in the morning, while he delivers daily newspapers. he would fall in love with her, but she wouldn't remember him when she is awake, as if she has amnesia. it's a pretty sad love story, but rumour has it that the episode will have a happy ending.

Drama city, unlike banjun drama, is quite serious in its literary and artistic value. the one jung hoon will be shooting is based on a short korean novel which won the lee sang literary award back in the 70's.
It is not a series, and will conclude in just one episode. the geographical/background location for the episode is in choonchun, and the first week of shooting will be held there.
There is still no information as to who the rest of the cast will be, but the episode began filming on may 9th, and will continue to film until may 17th.
